Summer Days

EDIT: Done. Experimented with the background a bit. Doesn't really look exactly how I wanted, but I'm pretty happy with it. 

Started this at the beginning of reading week. Now the week is finished, but alas, this piece is not. Lol. 

And no, I'm not dead, btw. I feel like I constantly have to keep reminding people of that. Though I have been drawing, I haven't really finished anything, or have anything interesting to post, besides this. Plus I've been busy with school, since it's my last year.

So anyway, I'm SUPER happy with this piece so far. I actually managed to draw hands and feet that don't look like mutated clubs! Hurray! xD Now I just have to decide how I want to shade it, add some detail work and presto! Not sure if I want to use cell-shading or a more painterly style yet. I kind of have both going on here, but it's just a WIP, so most of that will change. I also want to add a beach ball, a sandcastle, a bucket, etc beside him. Will probably have to extend the canvas a little to make it all fit.
